On the strength of this historical fact, since 2015 the producers of the Mâcon-Chardonnay appellation and their partners have been inviting you to return to the roots of the world's most famous white wine on Thursday 29 May 2025 (Ascension Thursday) 10 years of CHARDONNAY DAYPlace de l'église, Chardonnay (71).
To mark the occasion, visitors to the Saône-et-Loire region, whether passing through or on a short break, are invited to join fans of Burgundian
Burgundian conviviality for special tastings as close as possible to the original terroir of the famous
Chardonnay" vine, in the company of local producers.
